Hold Conveyor
The Hold Conveyor is Mikra’s specialized conveyor solution designed to operate in ship holds containing tubs, making the work of employees significantly easier and more efficient. Attached to the ceiling of the hold and remote controlled by the operator, it can be maneuvered to reach all tubs in the hold, eliminating the need for manual handling and reducing the physical demands placed on crew members during the filling process.
Efficient and controlled distribution of raw material into tubs in the ship’s hold is a critical part of onboard operations, where confined spaces and heavy loads make manual handling impractical and physically demanding. The Hold Conveyor addresses this directly by bringing the conveyor to the tub rather than the other way around, allowing operators to direct product precisely into the right tub at all times via a telescope chute attached to the end of the conveyor.
